Definition: A cittern popular in the 18th century, 10 strings, fan tuners, curved fingerboard. Almost identical to the Portuguese Guitar.

RECORDERS

Recorders originated in the renaissance period, when instruments were made with a cylindrical bore, but those mostly used today are baroque designs with a conical bore. Our recorders are stocked in English (baroque) fingering.
